Heat pump grants in County Armagh

We arrange air source heat pumps for homes throughout County Armagh, from the first heat loss survey to commissioning and annual servicing.

Heat pump grants are government-funded payments towards the cost of installing a heat pump, and the scheme you can use depends on where you live in the UK. In England and Wales the main scheme is the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, which takes £7,500 off the price of an air source heat pump. In Scotland, Home Energy Scotland offers a grant and an optional interest-free loan. Northern Ireland has no dedicated heat pump grant for homeowners at present.

Homeowners in County Armagh get a clear written quote showing the full price and any funding that applies. We confirm at the survey which funding route a home in County Armagh is likely to qualify for. Across County Armagh and County Armagh, the paperwork for funding applications is prepared alongside your quote.

Grants and rules for heat pumps in Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland does not have a dedicated heat pump grant for homeowners at present, and the Boiler Upgrade Scheme does not apply here. Heat pumps have sometimes been funded through the Northern Ireland Sustainable Energy Programme, so it is worth checking what is open when you enquire about a home in County Armagh.

There is no VAT on installing a heat pump in Northern Ireland until 31 March 2027, the same as in Great Britain. Planning and building control here follow Northern Ireland's own rules, so the survey checks the unit position against them.
