1. Who we are
Air Source Heat Pump Installers is a trading name of S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16932889), registered office Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG. "We" and "us" mean S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd. "You" means the customer named in the quote.
2. Guide prices and quotes
Prices on this website and from the guide price tool are guide prices to help you budget. They are not offers. Your price is set out in a written quote after survey, for the design and specification recorded in it. A quote is valid for the period stated on it. If the design or specification changes, we will re-quote before going ahead. Grant figures and VAT treatment shown on the website reflect published scheme rules at the date shown and can change.
3. Surveys
Home surveys and heat loss calculations for installation enquiries are free and do not commit you to anything. A stand-alone heat loss report, servicing visits and fault-finding visits are charged at the rate agreed with you before we attend.
4. Grants and funding
Where your quote shows a Boiler Upgrade Scheme deduction (England and Wales), the quote names the MCS-certified installer who will carry out and register the installation and apply to Ofgem for the grant, and states which company your contract for the installation is with. The deduction depends on the grant being approved; if it is not approved, we will tell you before any work starts and you may cancel without charge. If the grant is not paid after installation for any reason other than incorrect information you gave, you will not be charged the grant amount. In Scotland, Home Energy Scotland funding is applied for by you, and work does not start until you have a written funding offer if you are relying on it.
5. Your right to cancel
If you accept our quote away from our business premises or at a distance, you can cancel within 14 days of the day the contract is made, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To cancel, tell us clearly by email to info@airsourceheatpumpinstallers.com or by post to Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG. You can use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to.
We will refund any payment within 14 days of your cancellation. If you asked us to start work during the cancellation period and then cancel, you pay a proportionate amount for the work done up to the time you told us. Once the work is fully completed at your request, the right to cancel ends.

6. Payment
Any deposit and the payment stages are set out in your written quote. We will not ask for the balance before the work described in the quote is complete and commissioned, unless the quote says otherwise and you have agreed to it.
7. Installation dates and access
Installation dates and durations we give are typical estimates, not guarantees. You agree to give safe access to the property and the outdoor unit position, and to tell us about anything that affects the work, such as known asbestos, restrictions on the property, or tenants who need notice.
8. Planning and approvals
We check at survey whether your installation falls within permitted development in your nation and tell you if planning permission, listed building consent or other approval may be needed. Unless your quote says otherwise, applying for planning permission or listed building consent is your responsibility. Where required, the installer notifies your electricity network operator and registers the installation.
9. Warranties, guarantees and your rights
Where we arrange installation through installers we appoint, we remain responsible to you for their work under your contract with us. Manufacturer warranties on the heat pump, cylinder and other equipment pass to you; their length depends on the make and model and may depend on annual servicing. Our workmanship guarantee is set out in writing in your quote. These are in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, and services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill.
10. Running costs and performance
Running-cost comparisons on this website use the published Ofgem price cap and typical efficiency figures. Your actual costs depend on your energy tariff, how you use the system, the weather and the condition of your home. We do not promise savings.
11. Website content
Images on this website are computer-generated to show typical equipment and homes. They are not photographs of completed installations.
12. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made.
13. Complaints
If something is not right, contact us first at info@airsourceheatpumpinstallers.com or 0800 088 6341. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond in writing. If we cannot resolve it, we will give you the name and website of a certified alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider and tell you whether we agree to use it. You can also seek advice from Citizens Advice (consumerline in Northern Ireland).
14. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
