Before you book: heat pump servicing in Beccles
Whoever installed your heat pump, aftercare can be arranged in Beccles. Tell us the make and model and roughly how old it is, and we will set out what the visit involves before you book.
We service heat pumps in Beccles whoever installed them, including monobloc and split systems. Service visits in Beccles include unvented cylinder safety checks alongside the heat pump itself.
An annual service keeps a heat pump running efficiently, catches small faults early and is often a condition of the manufacturer's warranty.
- Landlords who need dated service records for each property
- Heat pumps a year or more past installation
- Systems where the manufacturer's warranty requires annual servicing
What's included

- Expansion vessel, pressure relief and water quality checks
- Magnetic filter and strainer clean, with system pressure topped up
- A dated service record for your warranty and property files
If a heat pump in Beccles has not been serviced for a while, the first visit includes a full check of settings and pressures.
Grants and rules for heat pumps in England
Homes in Beccles can use the Boiler Upgrade Scheme, which takes £7,500 off the cost of an air source heat pump when it replaces fossil-fuel or electric heating. Replacing oil or LPG heating qualifies for £9,000 for installations from 21 July 2026 to 31 March 2027, and air-to-air systems for £2,500. The MCS-certified installer named in your quote applies for the grant and deducts it from the price.

Winter daylight and heating in Beccles
Beccles has about 7 hours 40 minutes of daylight at midwinter and 16 hours 49 minutes at midsummer. That swing matters if you pair a heat pump with solar panels: summer generation can cover much of the hot water, winter generation far less.

Heat pump servicing in Beccles: questions
Can you work on a heat pump in Beccles that someone else installed?
Yes. We arrange servicing and repairs for most air source heat pumps in Beccles, whoever fitted them. Tell us the make and model when you get in touch.
Will the engineer need access indoors as well as outside?
Usually yes. The outdoor unit, the hot water cylinder, the controls and the pipework and valves indoors are all part of the visit, so allow access to each.
Do you also cover Lowestoft?
Yes. We arrange heat pump servicing and repairs in Lowestoft, which is about 8 miles east of Beccles, and across Suffolk.
Do I need to do anything between services?
A little. Keep the area around the outdoor unit clear of leaves, snow, plants and stored items so air flows freely. Check the system pressure gauge occasionally if you have one, and note any error codes. Avoid covering the unit or building an enclosure around it without advice, as this can reduce performance.
What does a heat pump service not include?
A service covers inspection, cleaning, testing and adjustment. It does not include replacement parts, major repairs, system flushing or radiator changes, which are quoted separately if needed. If the engineer finds a fault, they explain what it is, what it would cost to fix and whether it needs doing now or can wait.
